Crazy Cool or Crazy Stupid? Car Drives Through San Diego County Wildfire [Video]

Whether you think this short video clip is cool or crazy, it is definitely intense.

Nearly a dozen fires ravaged San Diego County this week burning through thousands of acres, destroying homes and causing evacuations, medical facility closures, school closures and one death.

Many area residents have taken to social media to post photos and videos of the devastation—posting to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

The above video was posted to YouTube on Wednesday, May 14. The Chive, a popular website, picked it up a day later.

The short 1 minute 13 second clip shows a vehicle driving through a firestorm in a residential area. It was allegedly shot this week in San Diego County during an evacuation.

Warning: Turn down your speakers. The video is loud. In addition, it contains offensive language.

meh, this is just another form of california entertainment, keeps the folks minds off the crime, economy and the shortage of water. one good thing, it will drive lots of those pesky coyotes and mtn lions out of those scorched areas, right into the areas that still are green and filled with tasty varmits!
