On Saturday, Sept. 10, Sheriff's deputies will be conducting a driver checkpoint as part of the "Drunk Driving; Over the Limit, Under Arrest DUI Campaign," from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.

This crackdown on alcohol related crimes and violations will primarily target drunk drivers. The location of the checkpoint has not been divulged.

"All too often, members of our community are senselessly injured or killed on local roadways by impaired drivers. A DUI checkpoint is a proven, effective method for enforcement and education," said a Sheriff's Dept. press release.
