House Fire Displaces Family of Six in Santee

A late Wednesday night fire heavily damaged a home but was quickly under control.

A couple and their four children are displaced Thursday after fire heavily damaged their Santee home, authorities said.

The fire at Domer Road and Pike Road began just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Heartland fire dispatcher. It was under control about 20 minute later, and didn't spread to other homes.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
