Lakeside House Fire Causes Sheriff's Investigation
One person was injured in the blaze on Sunday.
A Lakeside residence caught fire, causing one person to be sent to a hospital, and sheriff's arson investigators were on the case today.
The blaze broke out at a house on Gay Rio Drive near McWest Lane at about 8 p.m. Saturday, San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. E.J. Dayrit said.
A resident of the home was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, Dayrit said. Firefighters extinguished the flames within minutes.

The Sheriff's bomb and arson unit was called to investigate but investigators do not suspect foul play, he said. There have been no arrests.
