Man Arrested, Reportedly Riding Stolen Motorycle
The unidentified suspect was arrested without incident at Woodside Ave., near the 67 on-ramp.
An unidentified motorcyclist was arrested in Santee on Monday morning reportedly riding on a stolen bike, San Diego County Sheriff's deputies said.
The incident began around 7:30 a.m. when security officers at the told county authorities they witnessed a man riding around in their area on a motorcycle that had been reported stolen, Lt. Jim Duffy said.
A sheriff's ASTREA helicopter was dispatched to tail the motorcyclist and deputies from the set up on Woodside Avenue under the SR-67 on-ramp.
The motorcyclist stopped as ordered and surrendered without incident at 7:54 a.m., Duffy said.
The suspect's name was not immediately available.
