Missing Boy Last Spotted on Trolley

A 14-year-old with a history of running away has been missing for more than 10 days and was last seen on a trolley downtown.

The San Diego County issued a missing juvenile bulletin last week for 14-year-old Luke Roundy, who also goes by the name Michael McWilliams.

Luke left the home of relatives in Bonita, where his family was staying, on the evening of July 15, without telling anyone where he was going. His family is not from San Diego, and had come from Texas.

Luke was reported missing on July 16 and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children became involved. His mother told investigators that Luke has a history of running away.

Luke is reported to be 5 feet 8 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He normally wears gold wire-rimmed prescription glasses (see a photo in the media box).

The Sheriff's Department reports deputies are canvassing local and distributing fliers, because in the past, his mother said he has at Walmarts and other stores when he runs away.

The Sheriff’s Imperial Beach Station received reports of Luke being spotted on the in the downtown area on Sunday, July 24, during Comic-Con. The Sheriff's Department hasn't reported anything suggesting Luke may be in Santee or East County, but since he was last seen on the , he may end up riding east to the end of the line.
