A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after a car crashed into him on Mission Gorge Road midday Tuesday, according to San Diego 6 News.
The accident happened in the 10100 block of Mission Gorge Road at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities said a car was making a left turn onto Mission Gorge from a parking lot and the driver told them they didn't see the motorcycle.
The driver of the car was not injured, the motorcyclist was sent to Sharp Hospital.

The Sheriff's Department said they don't think intoxication was a factor in the crash.
