Santee Crime Report: Dec. 14-21, Bottle Bombs

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Station. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

A 42-year-old woman was arrested for suspicion of felony likely to cause harm/death of elder dependent/adult on Cedar Springs Drive. A 68-year-old victim reported a minor injury.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 8700 block of Graves Avenue. Items valued at $1,070 were reported stolen.

The theft of $1,800 worth of household goods was reported from a business in the 9600 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard.

A residential burglary was reported in the 10800 block of Ramsgate Drive. Items valued at $1,020 were reported stolen.

A bicycle valued at $100 was found in the 9900 block of Donner Street.

Thursday, Dec. 15

A camera valued at $75 was reported stolen in the 8800 block of Cuyamaca Street. The camera was owned by San Diego County.

A 54-year-old man was cited and released for harassing person in public place to solicit money or goods in the 200 block of Town Center Parkway.

Three juveniles were arrested for suspicion of daytime loitering other than home or school in the 9900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 9900 block of Mission Gorge Road. Items valued at $565 were reported stolen, along with identification cards.

A BMX bicycle valued at $400 was reported stolen in the 10000 block of Corkwood Avenue.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 10400 block of Mast Boulevard. Seven power tools with a combined value of $1,730 were reported stolen.

Friday, Dec. 16

Two vehicle burglaries were reported in the 10500 block of Timberlane Way. An item valued at $180 was recovered after being reported stolen from one vehicle, and $150 in cash was reported stolen from the other.

A portable music device was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9900 block of Cardoza Drive.

A pickup valued at $18,000 was recovered after being reported stolen in the 9200 block of Shadow Hill Road. Preston Stolte, 19, and Tyler Kuhl, 20, were arrested for suspicion of felony vehicle theft. They were arrested on Mapleview Street in Lakeside.

The theft of $3,903 in cash was reported in the 10300 block of Bart Way.

Saturday, Dec. 17

A pickup was reported vandalized in the 8700 block of Graves Avenue. Damage was estimated at $700.

A computer valued at $1,200 and a backpack valued at $60 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10100 block of Shaggybark Drive.

A traffic stop led to the arrest of Kristina Strausbaugh, 31, for suspicion of felony commercial burglary of an arts and crafts store in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway. More than two dozen items with a combined value around $200 were recovered.

Sunday, Dec. 18

A commercial burglary was reported in the 10100 block of Buena Vista Avenue. Tools valued at $2,365 were reported stolen. Craig Mays, 35, was arrested for suspicion of felony receiving known stolen property. Mays is also being held for a felony parole violation. 

Brandon Schott, 23, was arrested for suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, threatening with intent to terrorize and vandalism in the 9300 block of Pike Road.

A three-door truck valued at $4,000 was reported stolen in the 9000 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard.

Miscellaneous items valued at $200 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10500 block of Princess Joann Road.

A 47-year-old man was cited and released for conducting business without a license in the 10900 block of Woodside Avenue.

A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 9500 block of Corey Court. Damage was estimated at $300.  

Monday, Dec. 19

A commercial burglary was reported at Chase bank on Town Center Parkway. The loss was reported at $3,840.

A car valued at $2,300 was reported stolen in the 10400 block of Mast Boulevard.

Two juveniles were arrested for suspicion of felony shoplifting at Walmart on Town Center Parkway.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 9600 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard. Food items valued at $13 were reported stolen.

A book and office equipment valued at around $30 were reported stolen in the 8300 block of Fanita Drive.

A residential burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Hiram Way. Jewelry valued at $1,000 and $25 in cash were reported stolen.

Tuesday, Dec. 20

Metal valued at $500 was reported stolen from El Capitan High School, which was also vandalized. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

A simple battery was reported in the 9400 block of N. Cuyamaca Street. A 32-year-old woman reported a minor injury.

A misdemeanor sexual battery was reported in the 9000 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 9100 block of Willowgrove Avenue. Items valued at $1,635 were reported stolen.

A 39-year-old man was cited and released for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of burglary tools in the 9500 block of Abbeywood Road.

Two portable music devices with a combined value of $1,000 and $5 in cash were reported stolen from a building in the 10400 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

in the 9400 block of Mast Boulevard. Patrick Miller, Kameron Cox and Jordon Moore, all 18 years old, were arrested on Domer Road at Mast Boulevard for suspicion of felony possession of an explosive device in public. Bail for all three suspects was set at $100,000.  

A pickup was reported vandalized in the 10000 block of Holborn Street. Damage was estimated at $200.
