Santee Crime Report: Feb. 15-23

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Station. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

Four juveniles were arrested for daytime loitering other than home or school around noon in the 9900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

A commercial burglary was reported in the 11800 block of Woodside Terrace. An item valued at $5,850 was reported stolen.

A residential burglary was reported in the 8700 block of Crossway Court. Items valued at $3,390 were reported stolen.

An 18-year-old male was arrested for felony commercial burglary in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road; $800 in cash was reported stolen from Navy Federal Credit Union.

A 42-year-old female was arrested for DUI around 1 a.m. in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway.

A 20-year-old female was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at 10 p.m. on Mast Boulevard at Carlton Hills Boulevard. 

Friday, Feb. 17

Two males, age 59 and 25, were cited and released for unlawful camping in the 8700 block of Graves Avenue. 

Saturday, Feb. 18

A stolen car was recovered in the 8800 block of Tamberly Court.  

A 26-year-old male was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance around 9:30 a.m. in the 10700 block of Woodside Avenue.

A car valued at $3,000 was reported stolen in the 8800 block of Tamberly Court.

Sunday, Feb. 19

A car was vandalized in the 8000 block of Rancho Fanita Drive. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

A pickup and car were vandalized in the 8000 block of Rancho Fanita Drive. Damage was estimated at $7,000.

A car valued at $10,000 was reported stolen in the 8900 block of Fletcher Valley Drive.

A 21-year-old male was cited and released for discharging fireworks in the 9500 block of Lutheran Way.

A 61-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public around 6 p.m. in the 9200 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard.

A residential burglary was reported in the 8600 block of Arminda Circle. Items valued at $2,710 were reported stolen.

Monday, Feb. 20

A 44-year-old male was cited and released for illicit scavenging in the 8800 block of Cuyamaca Street around 4 a.m.

A stolen car was recovered in the 9600 block of Winter Gardens Boulevard.

A car was reported vandalized in the 9300 block of Kaschube Way. Damage was estimated at $100.

A 54-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public around 11 a.m. in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road.

A 45-year-old male was cited and released for shoplifting from Walmart on Town Center Parkway. Items valued at $53.20 were recovered.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

A car was vandalized in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road. Damage was estimated at $4,000.

A 23-year-old male was arrested for a felony parole violation, possession of hypodermic needles and resisting, both misdemeanors, in the 10700 block of Woodside Avenue around 11 a.m.

A tool valued at $200 was reported stolen in the 11100 block of Meadow Terrace Drive.

A 28-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 9400 block of Cuyamaca Street just before 10 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

A residential burglary was reported in the 8800 block of Winter Gardens Boulevard. Rings and necklaces valued at $8,700 and $80 in cash were reported stolen.

A 48-year-old male was arrested for felony threatening executive officer with violence, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia around 12:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Civic Center Drive.

A subject stop led to the arrest of a 44-year-old male for felony possession of a controlled substance at 11:20 p.m. in the 7900 block of Mission Gorge Road. 

A car valued at $2,000 was reported stolen in the 10100 block of Peaceful Court.

Vandalism was reported in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road. Damage was estimated at $20.

A grand theft from a building was reported in the 9800 block of Caspi Gardens Drive. Items valued at $3,270 were reported stolen.

Items valued at $130.48 were recovered after a burglary at Target on Mission Gorge Road. One person was arrested on a felony charge.

An auto registration was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9200 block of Via Anita.

Thursday, Feb. 23

A stolen car was recovered in the 10400 block of Mast Boulevard.

A pickup was reported vandalized in the 8000 block of Rancho Fanita Drive. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
