Santee Crime Report: Feb. 8-14

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Station. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Incidents of note from the press board at the Santee Sheriff’s Station:

Wednesday, Feb. 8

A subject stop in the 100 block of Civic Center Drive around 11:30 a.m. led to the arrest of a 44-year-old female for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

A subject stop in the 9600 block of N. Magnolia Avenue just before 1:30 p.m. led to the arrest of two males, age 41 and 26, for being under the influence of a controlled substance. The 26-year-old was also booked for possession of hypodermic needles and paraphernalia.

A simple battery was reported in the 10000 block of N. Magnolia Avenue at 4:18 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Gasoline valued at $399 was reported stolen from the city of Santee in the 10600 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

A stereo component valued at $500 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10400 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.

Athletic gear valued at $500 was reported stolen from a building in the 100 block of Rock Glen Way.

A juvenile was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 9900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 9

A 20-year-old male was arrested for felony commercial burglary in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road. Food valued at $18.76 and liquor valued at $23.96 were reported stolen from Vons.

A 39-year-old female was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance around 3:30 p.m. in the 9900 block of El Nopal.

A 44-year-old female and a 31-year-old male were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance around 11:30 a.m. on Mission Gorge Road at Cottonwood Avenue.

A 35-year-old male was arrested for felony shoplifting from Kohl’s in the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road. Clothing valued at $112.46 was recovered.

Friday, Feb. 10

A wallet and ID were reported stolen in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road.

Two females, age 53 and 41, were arrested for felony battery with serious bodily injury in the 10400 block of N. Magnolia Avenue around 8:30 a.m. A 36-year-old female suffered major injuries including broken bones, according to a report.

An armed robbery was reported at US Bank in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road; $1,211 in currency was reported stolen.

A juvenile was arrested for felony commercial burglary at Vons in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road. A bottle of liquor valued at $15.61 was recovered.

A residential burglary was reported in the 10500 block of Flora Verda Court. A computer valued at $1,700 and other items were reported stolen.

An 18-year-old male was arrested for felony commercial burglary at Vons in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road. Two bottles of liquor with a combined value of $46.31 were reported stolen.

Saturday, Feb. 11

A 27-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public just after midnight in the 10700 block of Woodside Avenue.

A 27-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public around 1:45 a.m. in the 9200 block of Inwood Drive.

A computer valued at $800 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9200 block of Mast Boulevard.

A car valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 10300 block of Princess Marcie Drive.

Checks were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10200 block of Mast Boulevard.

Clothing and tools valued at $380 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10100 block of Carefree Drive.

A subject stop around 9 p.m. in the 10700 block of Mission Gorge Road led to the arrest of four males, age 28, 23 and two 24-year-olds, for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Two were booked for felony possession of a controlled substance. 

An auto part valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9500 block of Saint Andrews Drive.

A car valued at $4,000 was reported stolen in the 8400 block of N. Magnolia Avenue.  

Sunday, Feb. 12

A 74-year-old male was cited and released for misdemeanor theft from Target in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road. Items valued at $161.50 were recovered.

A juvenile was detained for violating curfew around 1 a.m. in the 9700 block of Button Street and released at 2:20 a.m.

A television valued at $296.77 was reported stolen from Walmart in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway.

Monday, Feb. 13

A camera valued at $200 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9700 block of Button Street.

A 29-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public around 10:30 p.m. in the 9500 block of Cuyamaca Street. 

Tuesday, Feb. 14

An assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm was reported at Cajon Park Junior High School around 8:30 p.m. An unidentified victim suffered a possible internal injury, according to a report.

A car was vandalized in the 10200 block of Kerrigan Street. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

A wallet and cell phone were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10100 block of Riverwalk Drive.
