Santee Crime Report: May 9-15, Santana Vandalism and Unlawful Camping

The following information comes from Santee Sheriff's Dept. reports. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Vandalism of $400 or less was reported at Santana High School, a juvenile was detained.

Wednesday, May 9

Check fraud was reported at the Rodeway Inn, a 38-year-old female was arrested and jailed.

A stolen vehicle valued at $12,000 was reported in the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road.

Thursday, May 10

Six people were cited for .

The strong arm robbery of a skateboard was reported at Cuyamaca and River Park Dr. at 6:45 p.m.

Friday, May 11

A battery was reported against a 40-year-old male victim in the 10000 block of N Magnolia.

Saturday, May 12

A battery and robbery of $100 were reported in the 8900 block of Carlton Hills Blvd. against three male victims. A 49-year-old was arrested, charged with "felony promote/assist a street gang," robbery and battery, and jailed. He was found with a "lethal cutting instrument."

Burglary from a vehicle, valued at $1,000, was reported in the 8600 block of Clifford Heights Rd.

Sunday, May 13

A residential burglary of a computer valued at $1,600 was reported in the 9200 block of Bellagio Road.

A stolen vehicle valued at $1,000 was reported in the 10200 block of Alphonse St.

Monday, May 14

Two 18-year-old teens reported a person "exhibiting a deadly weapon" in the 9500 block of Domer Rd.

Tuesday May 15

Petty theft of $25 worth of gas was reported in the 8600 block of Mission Gorge Road. A 50-year-old male resisted arrest and was jailed.

A commercial burglary was reported at Vons, a 39-year-old male was arrested.

Battery on a 23-year-old male victim was reported in the 9000 block of Mission Gorge Rd.

20-year-old Dylan Castle was arrested on suspicion of possession of an illicit substance and paraphanalia, resisting arrest, causing harm to an officer, and escaping arrest.
