Santee Crime Report: Oct. 19-25

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 10100 block of Woodglen Vista Drive. Tools worth $2,500 and other items were missing.

A car valued at $7,500 was reported stolen in the 400 block of Whispering Willow Drive, occurring between 5 p.m. Oct. 17 and 4:45 p.m. Oct. 19.

Thursday, Oct. 20

A car valued at $2,000 and tools valued at $1,000 were reported stolen in the 9900 block of Mission Gorge Road between 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

A stereo unit valued at $250 was reported stolen in the 10200 block of Mast Boulevard, occurring between 11 p.m. Oct. 17 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 18.

A stolen car was recovered in the 8600 block of Fanita Drive.

Friday, Oct. 21

Christopher Baugher, 18, was arrested for felony possession of a stolen vehicle on Bilteer Drive at Bilteer Court just after midnight.

Tools valued at $1,100 were reported stolen from a building in the 11000 block of Sunset Trail, occurring between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 7 a.m. Oct. 21.

Tools valued at $470 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9700 block of Ramo Road, occurring between 5 p.m. Oct. 19 and 10 a.m. Oct. 20.

Saturday, Oct. 22

A wallet and $470 in cash were reported stolen during a strong-arm robbery in the 8800 block of Cuyamaca Street, occurring between 10 p.m. Oct. 21 and 1:30 a.m. Oct. 22. The victim reported minor injuries.

A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 9900 block of N. Magnolia Avenue between 12:37 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

A 23-year-old man was cited for misdemeanor simple battery at the at 10 a.m. His occupation was listed as referee, and a 30-year-old man reported minor injuries.

Music equipment valued at $10,000 and household goods valued at $200 were reported stolen in the 8200 block of Graves Avenue, occurring between 11:45 p.m. Oct. 21 and 8:20 a.m. Oct. 22.    

A BMX bicycle valued at $200 was reported stolen in the 10000 block of White Pine Lane.

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 10200 block of Woodrose Avenue in the early morning hours. The loss was valued at $300.

Sunday, Oct. 23

Auto registration and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 8400 block of Fanita Drive between 10 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6:25 a.m. Oct. 23.

A pistol valued at $475 was reported stolen from a building in the 8800 block of Diamond Back Drive. The theft occurred between 9 a.m. Oct. 10 and 3 p.m. Oct. 19.

Two TVs and other items valued at $2,300 were reported stolen in the 8600 block of Graves Avenue between 6:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

Items valued at $810 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10700 block of Valor Place.

Monday, Oct. 24

A residential burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Copper Ridge Road, occurring between 8 p.m. Oct. 7 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 8. The loss was valued at just under $300.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 9100 block of Paseo Cresta, occurring between noon Oct. 21 and 7 p.m. Oct. 23.

Food items valued at under $10 were reported shoplifted from a store in the 9200 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

A 52-year-old man was arrested for felony elder abuse in the early morning hours in the 9000 block of Calle Del Verde.
