Santee Crime Report: Sept. 5-11

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department and CrimeMapping.com mainly for Sept. 5-11. The defendants have not been convicted of a crime.

According to reports at the of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of September 12, 2011.  Unless otherwise noted, suspects placed under arrest were booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. 

• Two juveniles were detained on curfew violations and suspicion of public drunkenness after deputies were called to investigate a loud party in the 9700 block of Hinsdale Street shortly after midnight Sept. 11. One unnamed juvenile was released 15 minutes after deputies arrived, the other at 12:50 a.m., according to a report. 

• Vincent Osuna, 24, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being detained in the 9300 block of Fanita Parkway at 8 p.m. Sept. 10.

• Deputies arrested Tabitha Elaine Moran, 29, after they were called to the , 100 Town Center Parkway at 10:42 a.m. Sept. 10. She was booked into the women's jail in Santee on suspicion of felony burglary and an outstanding arrest warrant. Records show she is being held on $77,777 bail in the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee pending arraignment scheduled for Sept. 14 in an East County courtroom. Records show she faces allegations of misdemeanor theft, being under the influence of a controlled substance, battery and drunken driving. In addition to the burglary allegation, she faces a felony allegation of possessing a controlled substance. 

• Ty Daniel Gilbert, 38, was arrested after being stopped in the 200 block of Town Center Parkway at 3:22 p.m. Sept. 9. He was booked on an outstanding warrant, obstructing a peace officer and giving out false identification. Jail records show is currently not eligible for release from jail pending arraignment scheduled in an East County courtroom on Sept. 14. In addition to the above listed allegations, he faces felony drug possession, misdemeanor failure to appear and possession of burglary tools.

• Jason Gilbert, 22, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 9200 block of North Magnolia Avenue at 12:28 a.m. Sept. 10. Jail records show he is currently being held at the George Bailey Detention Facility in San Diego with bail set at $7,500 pending two separate  court appearances in San Diego and East County Sept. 13 and 14 on two separate allegations of drunken driving.

• Deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on a felony drug possession allegation after they were called to the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road at 7:35 Sept. 7.

• A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary after deputies were called to the , 200 Town Center Parkway to investigate a report of a suspicious person at 6:54 p.m. Sept. 7. Douglas Berry was arrested within an hour after deputies arrived, according to a report. An estimated $20 worth of food, tools and other items was reportedly recovered.

• Jenea Whitcomb, 36, was arrested on suspicion of felony petty theft with a prior after deputies were called to the , 9400 Mission Gorge Road, at 3:28 p.m. Sept. 7. An estimated $80 in miscellaneous jewelry and other items was recovered, according to a report. She was booked into the  Las Colinas women's jail in Santee. At 7:30 p.m. that same day, deputies issued misdemeanor petty theft citations to Victor Cresencio, 23, and Maria Cresencio, 27. An estimated $65 worth of  miscellaneous clothing and other items was recovered, according to a separate arrest report. Michelle Grau, 22, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary by deputies called to the same location at 11:58 a.m. Sept. 8, according to a separate report. Clothing valued at $500 was reportedly recovered.

• Deputies arrested a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of drunken driving and operating a vehicle with alcohol in his system after being stopped at Vomac Road and Terrywood Road at 10:28 p.m. Sept. 6. She was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• A 46-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after being stopped by a deputy at Prospect and Old Cottonwood at 9:29 p.m. Sept. 6.

• Deputies arrested John Henderson, 42, on a felony warrant while conducting a security check at the at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 6.

• Aisling McGrath, 22, was arrested on suspicion of battery and vandalism after deputies were called to the 8900 block of North Magnolia Avenue at 4:32 a.m. Sept. 4. A computer valued at $300 was damaged and a 39-year-old male victim reported a minor injury, according to a report. She was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.

  • Wash Laundry Systems, 10100 Peaceful Court, 1:11 p.m., Sept. 7  
  • 9100 block of Canyon Park Terrace, 11:12 a.m. Sept. 7.
  • Pinnacle Peaks, 7900 Mission Gorge Road, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 6.
  • Tower Glass Inc, 9500 Pathway St., 7:17 a.m. Sept. 6.
  • 8500 block of Graves Avenue at 1:09 a.m. on Sept. 9.

  • 10000 block of Buena Vista Avenue at 7:14 p.m. Sept. 7. Blue four-door sedan valued at $,5000.
  •  9000 block of Prospect Avenue  at 8:38 a.m. on Sept. 7. Red, four-door sedan valued at $5,000.

  • 9400 block of Lake Canyon Road, 8:55 a.m. Sept. 8.
  • 1000 block Buena Vista Avenue, 6:44 a.m. Sept 7
  • 8600 block of De Motta Lane, 4:45 a.m. Sept. 7.
  • 10700 block of Kenney Street, 12:15 p.m. Sept. 6
  • 10300 block of Carefree Drive, 4:39 p.m. Jan. 5

Vandalism reports

  • 8300 block of Fanita Drive at 12:29 a.m. Sept. 11. Damage to a gray pickup estimated at $450.
