Santee Crime Report: Week of April 25 to May 1

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department and CrimeMapping.com mainly for April 25 to May 1. The defendants have not been convicted of a crime.

• A juvenile was detained on suspicion of battery following a complaint in the 9900 North Magnolia Avenue, on the afternoon of April 14. The victim was not injured.

• Keith Woods, 42, was arrested on the evening of April 22 in the 8800 block of Mission Gorge Road on the evening of April 22. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of possessing dangerous weapons, a felony. No further details were immediately available.

• A man and woman were arrested on drug allegations following a traffic stop during the early morning hours of April 23. The stop was reported at Mast Boulevard and North Magnoloia Avenue, according to a report. Anthony Jacobsen, 46, was booked into the County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Stephanie Thiel, 44, was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

• reported an incident of vandalism in the 11000 block of Woodside Avenue on the morning of April 23. The unspecified damage was set at $800. No suspect information was reported. A 19-year-old man was cited after a report of a disturbance shortly after midnight in the 9000 block of Inverness Road.  Joshua Hoff was cited under a municipal ordinance prior to his release, according to a report. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 10000 block of Hartley Road on the
morning of April 25. The vehicle, described as a heavy truck valued at $20,000, was reportedly owned by Golf Coast Flood and Mold Specialist. No suspect information was reported.

• Myron Smith, 44, was cited on suspicion of violating a city code barring "illicit scavenging" in the 10000 block of White Pine Lane on the morning of April 25. He was released after being stopped by a deputy on the misdemeanor allegation. Smith also had a warrant for his arrest on an unspecified misdemeanor, according to an additional report, but was not jailed.

• A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary at the in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway on the afternoon of April 25. Ashlee Allsopp was was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on the felony allegation.

• Sean Breese, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance following a traffic stop on the morning of April 26. The stop was reported at north Magnolia avenue and Woodglen Vista Drive. He was booked into the County Jail in downtown San Diego on the misdemeanor allegation.

• A reportedly stolen vehicle was recovered at Prospect Avenue and Courtney Lane on the afternoon of April 26. The vehicle was described as a silver four-door sedan. No suspect information was reported.

• Two juveniles were detained on suspicion of shoplifting at the WalMart in the 100 block of Town Center Parkway on the afternoon of April 26. They were issued misdemeanor citations based on the store's complaint after authorities recovered about $28 worth of merchandise.

• A vehicle valued at $20,000 was reported stolen on the morning of April 27 in the 8200 block of Aaron Way. The vehicle, described as a light blue four-door sedan, belonged to a woman, 38, according to a report. No suspect information was reported.

• Kathy Pegram, 44, was jailed after being stopped in the 10000 block of Ironwood  Avenue on the morning of April 27. She was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail on being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

• A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a 31-year-old woman in the 9200 block of Massot Avenue on the morning of April 27. Skye La Magna was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon following the incident, which reportedly occurred during the early morning hours. The victim was rendered unconscious during the incident, according to a report.

• A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vandalizing a light truck belonging to Miller's Towing on the morning of April 27. Alan Dotson was accused of causing more than $400 damage, making the allegation a felony. A white two-door sedan was reportedly damaged, according to a report. He was booked into the County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• A vehicle reported as stolen was recovered in the 9800 block of Jeremy Street on the morning of April 27. The black SUV was reported stolen by a 31-year-old male victim. No suspect information was listed.

• A 47-year-old woman was cited and released following a call in the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road on the afternoon of April 28. Kathy Hobbs was cited on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, according to a report.

•A 39-year-old man was cited on a battery allegation following a complaint by a 66-year-old man in the 8200 block of east County Drive on the afternoon of April 29. Kevin Barton was issued a citation on a misdemeanor and released by a deputy. The victim had a minor injury, according to a report.

• A 22-year-old female reported being battered on the afternoon of April 29 in the 9900 block of Delia Lane. The woman reported a minor injury. No suspect information was reported.

• Bryan Hertzig, 31, was arrested on a felony after injuring  a victim in the 8500 block of Rhone Road. He was booked into the County Jail in downtown San Diego

• A bicycle and scooter was reported stolen in the 8500 block of Atlas View Drive on the afternoon of April 30. The scooter was described as a chrom Razor, the bicycle was described as a black Diamondback BMX.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 8800 block of Annandale Way on the afternoon of April 30. The 47-year-old female victim said the damage exceeded $400.

• Residential burglaries classified as felonies with items stolen valued from $500 to $5,100:

  • 11000 block of Columbus Street on the evening of April 30
  • 10000 block of Princess Sarit Way on the afternoon of April 30.
  • 10000 block of Woodside Avenue on the evening of April 28.
  • 9400 block of Galston Drive on the afternoon of April 25.

• Vehicle burglaries with items  stolen valued at less than $400 (petty theft) reported at:

  • 11000 block of Woodside Avenue on the morning of April 28.
  • 200 block of Hart Drive on the afternoon of April 26.
  • 10000 block of Rockville Street on the morning of April 25.

• Vehicle burglaries with items stolen valued at more than $400 (grand theft) or classified as felonies reported  at:

  • 9300 block of Mission Gorge Road reported evening of May 1.
  • 100 block of Willowbrook Way reported on the afternoon of April 28.
  • 8500 block of Big Rock Road on the afternoon of April 27.
