Santee Crime Report: Week of March 21

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department and CrimeMapping.com mainly for March 21-28. The defendants have not been convicted of a crime.

Santee Patch has started publishing a , a less detailed list of alleged Santee offenders, the Weekly Report focuses on incidents of interest with detailed reports.

Incidents of interest:

• A 26-year-old man was cited for misdemeanor battery after deputies were called to the 8900 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard on the evening of Feb. 12, according to a report at the Santee station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. Pablo Ruiz was cited after the alleged battery, reported by a 24-year-old man. The injuries involved were described as "minor" in the report.

• A home burglary was reported on the afternoon March 24 in the 9700 block of Jeremy Street. The 24-year-old victim reported the theft of miscellaneous items and damage or vandalism to other items. Total loss was set at $800. No suspect information was reported.

• A vehicle was burglarized in the 9900 block of Riverwalk Drive in Santee on the evening  of March 24. The 25-year old male victim reported the theft of a backpack, computer and other items with a total value of $2,800

• A vehicle was burglarized in the 10000 block of Keith Street on the morning of March 26. The 46-year-old victim reported the loss of a stereo and sun glasses with a total value of $520.

• The in the 9800 block of north Magnolia avenue reported the theft of cigarettes during the early morning hours of March 27.  The four packs were valued at $217. No suspect information was listed.

• A 34-year-old man was arrested after deputies were called to investigate a disturbance reported in the 8700 block of Graves Avenue on the evening of March 27. Matthew Larson was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on a misdemeanor warrant without incident, according to a report.

• Two juveniles and one adult were arrested after  incident near Mast Park, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said in a report obtained on Monday. The juveniles names were not released because of their age. Christopher Acevez 19, was also arrested and booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego, according to the report. He has since been released.

• A company reported the theft of miscellaneous property from a building in the 11400 block of Woodside Avenue on the morning of March 22. Teldata valued the stolen item at $6,800. The item was not detailed in the report and no suspect information was listed.

• Jeffrey Sanchez, 21, was arrested on a felony warrant after being contacted in the 11000 block of Canyon Park Drive on the morning of March 24. The nature of the warrant was not detailed in the report.

• A bicycle was reported stolen in the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road on the afternoon of March 19. The juvenile victim valued the "trick" bike, dark green in color, at $200. No suspect information was reported.

• A vehicle was reported burglarized in the 9400 block of Carlton Oaks Drive on the morning of March 23. The victims reported the theft of a backpack and other items valued at $270.

• A 28-year-old woman reported the theft of a green pickup valued at $5,000 in the 10000 block of Alphonse Atreet on the morning of March 23.  No suspect information was reported.

• A silver, two-door vehicle valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 9700 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard on the evening of March 23.  No suspect information was reported.

• A 20-year-old woman was arrested after being detained in the 9900 block of Mision Gorge Road on the evening of March 23 on suspicion of shoplifting at . The store reported the recovery of $19.50 in miscellaneous clothing. Sara Hufner was booked into the women's jail at on suspicion of felony burglary and an unspecified outstanding warrant

• A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and driving on a suspended license in the 9200 block of Inwood Drive on the evening of March 13. Heather Gustin, 28, was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail around 6 :30 p.m. following her arrest.

• . detected two cases of alleged unauthorized cable access, resulting in the issuance of two misdemeanor citations, during the early morning hours of March 14 in the 8600 block of Graves Avenue. The call resulted in misdemeanor citations for  Benjamin Renteria, 36, and Teresa Cecena, 35 as deputies were called to the scene to "preserve the peace," in connection with the incident.

• A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threatening another man at 9800 Mission Gorge Road on the afternoon or March 21. Deputies were initially called to investigate a report of someone being under the influence, according to a report. Andrew Domingos, 24, was booked into the County Jail in downtown San Diego on a felony related to the threats, which were not detailed in the report.

• Two people were arrested on theft allegations following a complaint involving  a 22-year-old female at the 9800 block of Mission Gorge Road on the evening of March 21. Joshua Stevens, 25, was arrested on two felonies, conspiracy to commit a crime, and committing a felony while out on bail. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. Katrina Vanblarcom, 23, was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail on three felonies -- bringing alcohol or drugs into a jail, conspiracy to commit a crime and committing a felony while on bail.

Vanblarcom was also booked on three misdemeanors -- possessing a controlled substance without a prescription, petty theft and presenting false identification to a peace officer. According to the report, the victim originally complained of being the victim of a petty theft.

• Christopher Rose, 25, was arrested on suspicion of threatening two people in the 10000 block of North Magnolia Avenue on the morning of March 22. The nature of the threats was not detailed in the summary report. Rose was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on a felony related to making threats of a crime intended to terrorize the victims.

• A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving following a traffic stop at the intersection of Cuyamaca Street and Mast Boulevard during the early morning hours of March 19.  In addition to reckless driving, Tommy Dyke, 34, was booked into the County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of drunken driving around 2 a.m.

• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 9600 block of Vomac Road on the morning of March 21. The victims reported the theft of a burgundy colored two-door sedan valued at $3,000. No suspect information was listed.
