Santee Review Profiles New Santee Sheriff's Captain, an East County Local

Get a look at Santee's new de facto "Police Chief."

At the beginning of September a new Captain stepped into command at the Santee Sheriff's Station, Capt. Lisa Miller replaced Capt. Ed Musgrove.

Miller, a graduate of El Capitan High School in Lakeside, is described as having "grown up here all her life" in a recent write up about her at the City of Santee blog, the Santee Review.

The Santee Station covers Santee, Lakeside and some of El Cajon and is home to about 75 Sheriff's personel.

In the blog post she discusses juvenile intervention and social host programs aimed at the three high schools in the area, keeping an open line of communication with the public and crime fighting with data analytics.
