According to police, a freestanding front-loading fireplace exploded at the party in the Upper Moreland suburb, setting Troisi on fire. Investigators say someone had poured gasoline onto the fire to get the wet logs to burn.

Troisi had just returned to his hometown of Warminster on Thursday, PhillyBurbs.com reported. He graduated from Archbishop Wood High School in 2001.

Some of the reports describe Troisi as a Navy SEAL, while others say he could not complete training because of injuries.
