Both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana and firearms offenses.

James also admitted being a felon in possession of a firearm and
Anderson admitted being an unlawful user of a controlled substance in
possession of a firearm.

The charges followed the Jan. 20 execution of a search warrant at the
defendants' home, where authorities recovered 138 marijuana plants, more than six pounds of dried marijuana, small quantities of other controlled substances, ammunition and two handguns.

Anderson's attorney maintained that all of the marijuana was intended
for personal use or for distribution to dispensaries.
