Several Vehicles Collide on State Route 67 in Lakeside
Reports indicate serious injuries are involved in the wreck.
A wreck in Lakeside Saturday involved up to four cars on state Route 67, NBC San Diego reported.
California Highway Patrol and Heartland Fire responded on the northbound side near the Winter Gardens exit at about 3:30 p.m. to aid those who were said to have serious injuries.
Two lanes of traffic were blocked as rescuers tended to the victims.
Shortly afterwards and further east another wreck led to a fire on Route 67 near Cloudy Moon Drive.
