Suspicious Death Investigation at Lakeside Home
Sheriff's homicide detectives and even the Border Patrol are looking into suspicious circumstances at the scene.
Local and federal authorities are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Lakeside.
The man was found dead in a home in the 11400 block of Rocky Lane about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego County Sheriff's homicide Lt. Larry Nesbit.
"Due to suspicious circumstances at the scene, a request was made for the Sheriff's homicide detail to respond,'' Nesbit said in a statement without elaboration.

The man's name was withheld pending positive identification, he said.
In addition to Sheriff's homicide detectives, the U.S. Border Patrol is also investigating the death, Nesbit said.
