Video: Cross-Dressing Robbery Leads to Police Pursuit in Santee
Wig wearing robbery suspect reaches speeds topping 100 m.p.h. in the Santee suburbs.
San Diego News Video caught the aftermath of a police pursuit from Lakeside into Santee on El Nopal following the robbery of a 7-Eleven last week, in which at least one of the suspected robbers was wearing a wig (see video).
Witnesses said the truck carrying one of the suspects reached speeds over 100 MPH during the chase. It crashed on the sidewalk in a suburban Santee neighborhood, the suspect was apprehended and Sheriff personell are reported to have found a wig, needle and handgun in the truck. The other suspect was caught at the 7-Eleven at the corner of Riverside Drive and Riverford Road in Lakeside, according to the report by San Diego News Video.
