Wanted: Sean Colin McCrea Suspected of Making Terrorist Threats

Sheriff's Dept. says he has military experience and access to weapons, and that he made statements about harming his wife.

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department has asked for the public's help in finding a man accused of making "terrorist threats" against his wife in an unincorporated part of El Cajon in August. Information leading to an arrest could be worth up to a $1,000 reward from Crime Stoppers.

Sean Colin McCrea, 35, has a felony arrest warrant on suspicion of terrorist threats and a misdemeanor warrant for reckless driving while intoxicated, according to the Sheriff's Department. 

On August 8, 2013, McCrea made statements about harming his wife in unincorporated El Cajon, according to a release by the Sheriff's Department. 

The release describes McCrea as having an affinity for sports and race cars and to prefer eastern European women, especially from Russia. He has military experience and the release said he is believed to have access to weapons.

The Sheriff's Deparment warns: "If you see McCrea, do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous." 
 
Sean Colin McCrea is described as a 35-year-old White male, born on August 6, 1978. He is 5’07 tall, weighs about 150 lbs and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about McCrea can remain anonymous. You can be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Just call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
