Young Man Found Crushed by Wood Pile in Lakeside
Some details have been released about a man crushed under a pile of wood at a Lakeside drilling site.
found the body of 18-year-old Matthew Christopher Mitchell crushed under a large pallet of wood at a Lakeside drilling site near , according to authorities.
Transients found Mitchell's body at Anderson Drilling's corporate headquarters on Channel Road around 8:30 p.m., according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office. The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that Mitchell was the son of Lisa Mitchell of Poway and was working on getting a GED diploma through the Poway Unified School District.
