Register for a - For kids entering K though 6th grade this fall. Sponsored by Carlton Hills Southern Baptist Church and staffed by coaches from a sister Church in Orange county, it's a great way for the kids to learn about soccer or polish their skills. We are giving away T-shirts and on Friday a free soccer ball will be given to each child in attendance. Please come, register on site and plan to have a great time.

A vote on changes in supervisorial districts in San Diego county has been put off for at least another month.
The County Board of Supervisors was set Tuesday to hear the first reading of a proposed ordinance to change the makeup of the districts. However, a redistricting proposal submitted by the ACLU delayed the proceeding.
