 Presentations:

Public Hearing: The council must amend the 2011-12 Community Development Block Grant action plan. The city finds itself with 6.5 percent less money than it planned in order to help support public service projects such as the Santee Food Bank and Meals on Wheels, and must decide where to cut. With this drop in funds, the city has 22.5 percent less CDBG money compared last year.

Ordinances: The Council will vote on whether to comply with the Voluntary Alternative Redevelopment Program, a method of saving local redevelopment commissions that rose out of the recently passed California budget and bills attached to it. It involves dissolving the previous agency and creating a new one which must submit certain payments to the state to continue operating. This should not change much with .

Council Item: The Council is set to discuss of what should be done with undeveloped parcels of land in the 21-acre mixed-use site at Riverview. currently occupies one parcel of land on the site.

New Business: Approval of contribution agreement between the City of Santee and Fanita Rancho for the .
