Presentation:

Consent Calendar Item of Note:

• "Authorization of sole source purchase for personal protective clothing from Allstar Fire Equipment, Incorporated in the amount of $12,232.43."

Council Reports

• Councilmember John Minto has requested that the council discuss Santee Fire Department staffing and that staff submit a report.

New Business

• City staff is asking council to give the go ahead to apply for up to $1.6 million in funding from the Proposition 84 California Urban Greening Grant Program in order to finance the "installation of drought resistant plants, durable ground cover and water-efficient irrigation systems within 14 administered by the city."

Schmidt Design Group has come up with a way to reduce water use in landscape maintenance zones, while keeping up appearance. There is no application fee for the funds.
