Other facts

The following was submitted by Priscilla J Schreiber:

I am honored to have the following endorsements: Congressman Duncan D. Hunter, County Supervisor Dianne Jacob, and Assemblyman Brian Jones.

I have worked hard over the last twelve years to be accessible to parents and community members for the best interest of students. My years of experience on the board has been invaluable to my personal growth and, I believe, that of the district.

I am honored to have been elected for three terms and look forward to the opportunity to serve another term. As the senior board member, I bring a history to the conversation relative to where we've been and where we are going. The District, with its teachers, staff, parents and students are accomplishing great things as we work together. Education has its obstacles and together we face those challenges.

My construction background has served me well, in board oversight of the largest bond program in the history of the district. This is one area that represents total "local control" unlike the constraints put on our budget by the State. I take that oversight very seriously.

I was honored last year to have been nominated in the Education category for the East County Chamber's "Women In Leadership" Award. I bring not only what is mentioned above, but an attitude of service, diligence and integrity to the board. Thank you for your consideration when selecting your school board representatives.
