Road Repair Update: Phase Two in Spring
With projects wrapping up this winter, the next phase of repairs is lined up, featuring Woodside Avenue redevelopment.
Phase One of the large bundle of citywide road repairs is nearly complete. The final stage of asphalt overlay on Mission Gorge Road is scheduled for Nov, 14-17 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to the City of Santee website, but may be delayed due to rain.
"We are closely monitoring the forecast for rain as this could delay the work," Deputy City Manager said.
He also said replacement of old drainage pipes and paving in the Carlton Hills Blvd. area needs to be done to complete Phase One.

Phase Two will include (Magnolia Avenue to SR-67), Simeon Drive, Bushy Hills Drive, Wahl Street and Wheatlands Industrial Park area, according to the city.
Orso-Delgado said there will be a town hall meeting about Phase Two sometime in Feb. or March of 2012.
