Every seven years, or after any change to the road, the speed limits on roadways must be re-certified. The first reading of the changes to speed limits will be made at the meeting, likely to be adopted at the next meeting and would go into affect 30 days after that. The council will decide if the Santee Community Foundation will be given $1,500 in start-up funds raised by the Santee Park and Recreation Committee's fundraising arm.
