What's on the Santee Ballot for June Primary?

Deadline for applying for an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. May 29, according to registrar's office.

Santee residents who have registered as mail-in voters have probably already received their ballots for the June 5 primary election, or will soon.

According to the San Diego County Registrar of Voters, an estimated 724,000 vote-by-mail ballots are being distributed in the county. Deadline for applying for a mail ballot—also called an absentee ballot—is 5 p.m. May 29.

At the state level, local voters will choose a new lawmaker for the new 71st Assembly District. In that race is former Santee City Councilman faces off against Patrick J. Hurley, and John McLaughlin.

In the 50th Congressional District, voters have a choice between David B. Secor, , Connie Frankowiak, Terri Linnell, and Michael Benoit.

At the County level, Dianne Jacob and will be on the ballot for San Diego County Supervisor of District 2.
