Reader's Choice 2012: Best Seafood Restaurant in Santee

The weekly Readers' Choice polls highlight the best Santee has to offer in every imaginable topic.

For the , Santee seems to be missing something the coast has in abundance- seafood! Sure, we've got three sushi bars, but after scrolling through all of the local restaurants, I could only come up with SAB-E-LEE Thai and Rubio's to add to the poll for best seafood in town.

Where's our Brigantine? I'd even take a Red Lobster ().

Yes, I know Rubio's isn't really what you think of when you think "seafood," but I decided I had to include the home of the fish taco! And I'm personally a huge fan of the sizzling fish at SAB-E-LEE.

Here are the local choices I found. Let us know in the comments if we missed someone, and we’ll add them:

Voting closes at 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever restaurant has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Don't forget to leave reviews in the comments and at their directory pages.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Your right. Santee has no seafood restaurant. Only places that have seafood on their menu too. My guess tough that closest place to a real seafood restaurant in my book would be Olive Garden believe it or not. They've got a pretty good selection of seafood on menu.
