Chamber Hot August Special, Cat-illacs Help Say Goodbye to Summer
Chamber runs a special to win a 1956 Chevy Bel Air, and the Cat-ilacs close the Summer Concert Series.
The Santee Chamber of Commerce will be having their annual Car Show and Festival this year on Oct. 13th 2012, where they will be raffling off a 1956 Chevy Bel Air. For their "HOT August Special" they are selling 6 tickets for the price of 5. That's right if you purchase 5 tickets at $20.00 a piece, they will give you an extra ticket for free. Man I should have waited to buy my tickets!! Tickets are available at the Santee Chamber of Commerce office on the corner of Mission Gorge and Cottonwood or you can call (619)449-6572. Turn out the lights, the party is soon to be over. Yes my friends, the Santee Summer Concert Series is coming to an end. This Thursday we will have the Cat-illacs as our final band of the year. Be sure to get there early, as I am sure parking will be in short supply for this popular Oldies Rock and Roll band. The show starts at 6:30pm but you want to make sure you are there by at least 6:00 to get a good seat. Remember these concerts are free!! And you are welcome to bring your own picnic dinner, or enjoy a great meal from one of the several gourmet catering trucks that will be there. I hope to see you there!!
