Santee Marine Receives Nissan Cube With Donation From Operation Homefront

"Big Bad" John Minto reports from the donation ceremony at Fix Auto in Santee.

"Big Bad" reports from the donation ceremony at Fix Auto in Santee, where in a joint effort from Farmers Insurance and Fix Auto, a insurance loss for one person was turned into a dream come true for a local Marine and his family.

A Nissan Cube was actually donated to Operation Homefront by Farmers Insurance, when it was classified as a complete loss. However, the wonderful folks over at Fix Auto, right here in Santee, saw the possibility to bring the car back to life so that a deserving family of a wounded Marine could have a dependable vehicle.

The recipient, Lance Corporal Joshua Jenkins, was there to accept the car with his wife Megan and daughter Addison.

Video is marked as private. Glad to hear that a needy soldier got some help.
