Career Planning Workshops

Grossmont College will host six free career planning workshops high school students and their parents who want to learn how to use new online software called “Career Cruising,” which is designed to help students discover career options for life after high school.

Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD) is presenting the workshops, which will be held at the Learning and Technology Resource Center, Building #70, at the Grossmont College campus in El Cajon.

Two workshops will be held each evening from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

  • Jan. 17: Students from Valhalla, Granite Hills and El Cajon Valley are invited to attend
  • Jan. 18: Students from West Hills, El Capitan and Santana
  • Jan. 19: Students from Grossmont, Monte Vista, Mount Miguel and Chaparral

Spanish and Arabic translation will be available on Jan. 17 and 19, but only Spanish translation on Jan. 18.

Free transportation to Grossmont College will leave at 5:30 p.m. from El Cajon Valley High on Jan. 17, and from Monte Vista and Mount Miguel high schools on Jan. 19, however transportation will not be available on Jan. 18.
