Santana Recognized as Grossmont Athletic Conference Combined Sports Champion
The home of "Scholars and Champions" leads the district with eight championship titles and two ties for titles.
was recently recognized by the Grossmont Athletic Conference as the 2010-11 Combined Sports School Champion.
The award is the most prestigious given by the Conference to the school that wins the most league championships in a year. This year, Santana won eight titles and tied for two.
Santana took championships in Boy's Tennis, , Softball, , Girl's Soccer, , Girl's Volleyball and Girl's Golf. The school also tied for the championship with Grossmont in Girl's Lacross, and tied with Mt. Miguel in Boy's Basketball.

Conference President Dr. Michael Lewis presented the award to Santana's Athletic Vice Principal Larry Oedewaldt, ASB Advisor Melissa Hassell, and Athletic Director John Bobof.
