Santana's Landon Lozoya in Running for PPR Silver Pigskin Award

The star wide receiver needs votes to take the wildcard fifth slot in the annual KUSI Prep Pigskin Report contest.

Landon Lozoya, student and wide receiver for the Santana High varsity football team, has been nominated for the 2011 KUSI Prep Pigskin Report Silver Pigskin Award.

Last week, the PPR committee picked four athletes from an original group of 24, and left the fifth spot open for the public to choose from nine other athletes. Landon is one of those nine, and needs your vote to secure a spot in the final group of contestants.

According to MaxPrep.com, Landon has averaged 6 points a game, 11.3 yards per carry this season and 80.6 yards per game.
