Working out in the morning can leave you more energized for the day and kick start your metabolism. For me, after I am done working out in the morning, I feel refreshed and ready for work. It also makes me eat healthier throughout the day.

Through the summer months, especially in Santee, it can get really hot. The morning is much cooler and the air crisp. Plus, then after work or your daily errands, you can enjoy the summer sun by barbecuing outside, playing with your kids, or just enjoying reading a book in your backyard.

For those of you who have trouble getting motivated, especially after working all day, you will be less likely to work out in the evening. Once you get home, many are prone to not leave the house again until the next day. By getting it done in the morning, you have time to just relax.

Another advantage of working out in the morning is that the gym or running around the lake, is less crowded and you can get more accomplished in a shorter period of time. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to a new sleep schedule, but it is worth it. Stick with it and you will come out on top.
