East County YMCA Summer Programs

You need some kid-free time and they need to burn off some summertime energy- YMCA has you covered.

Summer vacation has just begun, but does it seem like the kids have been around the house for ages already?

We're into week three of the YMCA's 12 week summer day camp schedule, so there's plenty of time to get registered and having fun before school starts up again! Not only can you occupy the kid's time, but you can get in shape or learn a new sport or hobby with one of their many programs at the same time.

Summer YMCA activities include:

  • Child Care – Licensed Child Care, After School Programs and Free Child Watch while working out for Family YMCA Members.
  • Swim, Sports & Play – Gymnastics (beginning at age 12 months), Teen Clubs, Youth Sports (beginning at age 2 years), Swim Lessons (beginning at age 6 months) and Teams.
  • Summer Camp - The East County Family YMCA provides exciting, fun and educational camp programming for children and teens including: Radical Reptiles and Friends Camp, Splash Camp, Leaders in Training Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Ocean in Motion Camp, Equestrian Camp, Web Design Camp, Archery Camp and More! Camps run weekly throughout the summer! Space is still available!
  • Education & Leadership – Academic Enrichment, Youth & Government, Health
  • Well-Being & Fitness – Group Fitness, Personal Training, Classes for Special Populations, Water Exercise, and Mind/Body Classes.
