Assembly Member Brian Jones Hosts Second Amendment Awareness Event

WHAT:         

An event dedicated to spreading awareness about the Second Amendment and firearm safety at the Lemon Grove Gun Club. Included will be a statement from the Assembly Member, a brief question-and-answer session and an opportunity for participants to shoot firearms. Novices will be able to receive certified instruction. Lunch will be provided for a low price.

WHY:            

To coincide with Constitution Week—which annually runs from Sept.17 to 23— Assembly Member Brian Jones wishes to use this opportunity to educate constituents regarding the importance of the Second Amendment of our Constitution and society.

Jones said he is dismayed by the wide array of bills introduced in the California State Assembly aimed at the curtailment of Second Amendment rights. He spoke on the Assembly Floor recently in strong defense of private gun ownership.
