60-year-old aviator-pilot Robert Gannon has completed a 10-year adventure in which he circled the globe twice in a single engine Cessna 182, without using autopilot, starting and finishing at Gillespie Field.
After visiting 155 countries, and setting all sorts of aviation records, he is back planning his next adventure.
A public reception will be held in the airport terminal at Gillespie Field, Saturday at noon.
