Attention all fishermen! Spring is here and it's opening day for Catfish season where 24,000 pounds of Catfish will make Santee Lakes their new home.
A fishing permit is required. Adult fishing permits are $9 per day and juniors ages 15 years old and younger are $6 per day.
Catfish is stocked on a seasonal basis so make sure you get yours before the season is over.
