Beat Cancer Boot Camp (BCBC) is designed to condition your body and mind for healing.
Everyone is Included –Geared toward All Fitness Levels
The classes will include a variety of exercises designed to be effective and challenging. Workouts are geared toward ALL fitness levels as you move through various stages of cancer Treatment and Recovery. Everyone will be able to participate regardless of your fitness level.
The Instructor
BCBC will be taught by Tamra Herb. Tamra is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer of 15 years, Dietician & Naturopathic Doctor who’s been in the health field for over 20 years helping clients with all kinds of medical conditions including cancer recovery survivors.
The Program
The BCBC program is a Recognized Fitness and Support Based Support Program that was started in 2004 by Anita Killman from Tucson AZ. Anita is a clinical liaison for patients undergoing biopsies and other procedures. She’s worked in the medical field for over 25 yrs and started this program. She’s known for her contribution to Cancer awareness and women’s health and is a patient advocate on the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
The Goal
BCBC designed to empower and inspire cancer survivors, spouses, family members, friends and anyone else who wants to join the battle against cancer and take charge of their lives! BCBC was developed to help motivate all who have been touched by cancer to stay active during cancer, treatment and beyond. BCBC creates very strong support groups where cancer survivors and their loved ones can come together to reclaim their lives with exercise and a shared appreciation for one another.
Location
Boot camp is held in a park environment which offers people the same freedom from germs of a gym and boredom of repetitive classes, along with the comradery and support of other cancer survivors which is instrumental in mental recovery.
The fact is no one signs up for cancer. No one expects to fight this battle. Most experiencing this are looking for a way to cope more effectively. We all know or have known of someone that is family, friends or loved ones who have faced cancer. Now is the time to step up and make a difference for all those fighting this!
BCBC classes are held 3 times a week at ONLY $7.00 a CLASS!
All money goes to help LOCAL needy Cancer Patients.
