Second Annual Armed Services Appreciation Indoor Soccer Tournament

Sportsplex USA has teamed up agaim with SoccerNation to organize a fun and exciting indoor soccer tournament to recognize and honor active and non-active military friends and family as well as local area veterans.

The tournament will feature some of San Diego’s professional soccer teams, like the San Diego Sockers, San Diego Boca FC, Tiburones United, and the San Diego Sea Lions. Members of each of these teams will be on-site during the event to offer free soccer skill clinics.

A military service recognition ceremony will be held at noon and sponsor booths, giveaways and great food and drink specials will be offered throughout the day.

This festive event is open to all players and teams who currently participate at Sportsplex USA. Cost for the tournament is only $250 per team.  If your team consists of at least 75 percent military active duty members (with military ID), your team fee is free!  Additionally all those showing a valid military ID will receive FREE entry to Sportsplex USA the day of the event.

Registered teams will receive three guaranteed pool play games with the top teams advancing to the playoff rounds, referee fees, participant T-shirt, and awards for top finishing teams. There will be four divisions offered; Coed Open, Women’s, Men’s Recreational and Men's Open. Tournament game times to be determined based upon total registration.
