YMCA Healthy Kids Day

The East County Family YMCA is celebrating Healthy Kids Day with a free community event for kids and families in East County.

Healthy Kids Day, a national initiative of the Y to improve the health and well-being of kids, is filled with fun, active play and educational activities that will help parents improve their kids’ lifestyles for the long term.

Visit the YMCA in Santee for healthy activities, like a Fun/Walk Run, Trial Classes, Water Safety and Demos by the Santee Fire Department, Back Yard Games, and special summer savings (available at all three East County Family YMCA’s) such as 50 percent off the Membership Joining Fee and $5.00 per week for Summer Day Camp and Swim Lessons.

Nationally, Healthy Kids Day is supported by the Dodge brand.
