Friday Night Lights: Week 4 Prep Football Preview

Poway High hosts San Pasqual in a match-up of two 3-0 teams; Mar Vista, Santana, Bishop's look to remain unbeaten.

It will be a battle of 3-0 unbeatens Friday night when San Pasqual High visits Poway for a 7 p.m. game. The Eagles haven't begun a season with four straight wins since a 6-0 start in 2005, and Poway is off to its best start since its 12-0 CIF championship season in 2007.

The Titans won 39-21 last year in Escondido, the second victory in a six-game winning streak following an 0-2 start. San Pasqual has turned things around after an 0-10 season in 2009 and a 4-7 mark last year.

Poway, behind running back Ryan Moreno, has yet to turn the ball over this season, outscoring its opponents 93-52. Quarterback Tyler Tony (429 yards rushing) leads San Pasqual, which has scored 87 points and given up just 24.
