West Hills Girls Basketball Makes it to Semifinals With Win Over Canyon Crest

A close game ending in a 47-44 win leads to a semifinal game at West Hills on Wednesday.

The West Hills girls varsity basketball team defeated Canyon Crest at Friday night's Div. II playoff game, 47-44, and will be playing a home game against Mt. Carmel in the semifinals Wed. night at 7 p.m.

The game was a close one, with Canyon Crest coming out of the gate playing hard and Wolf Pack squeaking by in the end. Taylor Ingraham led the Pack with 12 points in the game, followed by Jillian Brown with 8 points.

The team now stands with a record of 22-6, and is ranked 108 in California, according to MaxPreps.com.
