Wolf Pack senior pitcher David Hesslink picked up the win after tossing seven strong innings to lead West Hills to a 6-2 win over Monte Vista.
Hesslink scattered seven hits and gave up two earned runs to go along with five strikeouts. His effort pushed the Wolfpack's record to 4-1 on the year.
Senior infielder Paul O'Connor went 3-for-4, including a first-inning homer to pace the Monarchs, who fell to 0-3 on the season.
West Hills baseball plays another home game against Monte Vista on Monday at 4 p.m.
