TROUT:
Lakes 3 and 4 split a 1,000 lb. stock of Rainbows this past Friday.
Jonas Kim age 10 from San Diego reeled in 2 Trout from lake 4 on nightcrawler and powerbait combo. Largest weighed 3 lbs. One fish was tagged and Jonas won a rod and reel combo.
Anthony Norton landed a huge 5 lb. 8 oz. Trout from lake 4 on a roostertail. Anthony qualifies for the TV drawing in April.
Marion Dixon from Lakeside caught a tagged Trout out of lake 4 on nightcrawler and powerbait. Marion won a mini fighter pole holder.
Don Bragg caught a tagged Trout out of lake 4 on powerbait mice tail and won a camping lantern.
Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6 & 7)
Fishing Permit Fees
Adult (ages 16 and over) $9.00 per day
Junior (ages 7 to 15) $6.00 per day
Second fishing pole stamp $4.00
*One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Padre Dam’s Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.
