Varsity Baseball
West Hills won against Mira Mesa in the opening round of the Foothiller-Aztec Classic tournament at Grossmont High School on Saturday, with a score of 10-9. The game went into a tenth inning, with Chase Parsons hitting the winning run. Read more at East County Sports.com

• Santana defeated El Camino with a score of 9-0 at the opening game of the Cougar Classic at Kit Carson Park on Monday, in just six innings.
Kylie Brase and Amber Schisler both hit two-run homeruns during the game. Brase also got four RBI, and Schisler pitched four innings without a hit. Read more at East County Sports.com
Santana plays next against Otay Ranch, March 7 at Kit Carson Park at 7 p.m.
• West Hills played a close season opener against Mira Mesa Saturday, but was bested 2-1 in the final inning. The first score was made by Mira Mesa in the 6th inning, and Wolf Pack freshman Sydney Craven hit a single with two outs in the 7th and was batted in for a run. Read more at East County Sports.com
