West Hills Girls Basketball Loses Semifinal Game to Top-Seeded Serra

The Pack still stands a chance at a wildcard slot in a game against Westview on February 28.

The Grossmont League championship winning West Hills High School girls basketball team lost a San Diego CIF Division II semifinal game against top-seeded Serra High on Tuesday, with a score of 67-59.

The game was a rematch of last year’s San Diego CIF Division II championship game against Serra, and ended the same way- deflating the Pack's playoff hopes.

West Hill's still stands a chance at a wildcard slot in the CIF State Playoffs in a game against Westview on February 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Mira Mesa.

Wolf Pack coach Ryan Kinser told East County Sports.com that Serra was a tough team to beat, especially since they outscored West Hills early in the game.
